CACAO RITUAL
Expand the Heart Space with Cacao, Breath & Movement

With Mariel Diaz & Valerie Vincent

Join us for an intimate and transformative Cacao Ritual on Friday, December 6, from 6 to 7:30 PM. Guided by Mariel and Valerie,

this ritual will invite you into a sacred space of connection, introspection, and delight with your Heart. The evening will begin with centering practices to ground and prepare, followed by an exploration of cacao—its rich history, ceremonial uses, and profound heart-opening benefits. Together, we will honour the tradition of cacao as we mindfully pass and share this plant medicine, fostering a collective sense of gratitude and intention.

As the cacao begins to work its magic, you will be guided through gentle breathwork and movement to deepen your connection to the heart space. This embodied practice will allow the energy of cacao to flow freely, encouraging emotional release and self-awareness. To close, we will hold an optional sharing circle where participants can reflect and connect, followed by a mindful closing of the space. Whether you are new to cacao ceremonies or experienced in sacred rituals,

this workshop offers a beautiful opportunity to nurture yourself and build meaningful connections in a supportive environment. Come with an open heart and leave feeling expanded and renewed.

Mariel is an energetics mentor, Sacred Leadership, Intimacy Coach and cacao ceremony facilitator, and Valerie is a certified yoga teacher with a passion for restorative postures and breathwork.

IMPORTANT NOTE

While This grief workshop offers a compassionate and holistic approach to healing, it may not be suited for those looking for a more individualistic or traditional approach or those not yet ready to engage deeply with their emotions.

The Light in the Darkness of Grief

with Jenny Jane Savard

Attending a grief workshop can offer a compassionate, supportive space for individuals to process their emotions in a safe environment. Grief can feel isolating, and sometimes, it’s hard to know where to turn for understanding. This workshop provides an opportunity to connect with others who are experiencing similar pain, share personal stories, and gain insight into healthy coping strategies. It also offers practical tools to navigate the complex emotions of loss, from managing difficult days to finding a path forward. Whether someone is recently grieving or still processing a loss from the past, the workshop fosters a sense of community and healing, helping participants feel seen and supported during one of life’s most challenging experiences.

Healing the inner child: Grief isn’t just about the loss we’re experiencing right now—it can also stir up past wounds, especially from childhood. Inner child work helps you reconnect with the younger, vulnerable parts of yourself that may need healing and care. This approach creates a gentle space to explore unresolved emotions or unmet needs from your past, which can offer profound relief and insight in your current grief process.

Breathwork for emotional release: Grief can manifest physically in the body—tightness, heaviness, fatigue, and emotional overwhelm. Breathwork is a powerful tool to help release stored emotions, calm the nervous system, and return to a sense of balance. By practicing conscious breathing, you’ll learn how to manage anxiety, find clarity, and create a sense of emotional grounding during difficult moments. Breathwork offers a direct, accessible way to relieve tension and feel more centered.

Music & healing: Grief often involves emotions that are difficult to express with words. Music can help bridge that gap. Whether through listening, singing, or other forms of sound, music can help unlock deeply held emotions, facilitate catharsis, and offer moments of connection and comfort. Music has the unique ability to soothe, uplift, and help you express grief in ways that words alone cannot.

This workshop combines mind, body, and spirit to address the full range of experiences that come with grief. The combination of inner child work, breathwork, and music allows for a more embodied, creative, and compassionate healing process. It provides a unique space for deep healing—emotionally, physically, and spiritually—helping you move through your grief with compassion, connection, and self-awareness.

ABOUT JENNY

Jenny Jane Savard is a grief and integrative trauma healing facilitator dedicated to helping individuals release the weight of grief and rediscover healing, freedom, and gratitude.

With a background in Psychology and Fine Arts from Concordia University, Jenny’s personal and professional journey was profoundly transformed after the loss of her mother. This experience led her to explore grief on both cognitive and somatic levels, undergoing extensive training in self-healing and studying with renowned grief expert David Kessler. Through this transformative journey, she discovered one of her callings: to share the tools and guidance that helped her navigate her own grief with others.

In her workshops and one-on-one sessions, Jenny draws on her gifts as a singer and songwriter, weaving music, poetry, storytelling, and somatic practices into a safe, nurturing space for healing. Her compassionate and creatively engaging approach is designed to help participants honour their grief while uncovering light, connection, and meaning beyond it.

In her upcoming workshop, The Light in the Darkness of Grief, Jenny offers a supportive space for individuals to explore their grief, heal, and reconnect with their inner selves. Her work is grounded in empathy and creativity and the belief that grief is a deeply personal journey that can lead to profound healing, growth, and transformation.
