✨ DREAM WORKS ✨

With MONA-ELIZABETH ASSAF

Have you ever had a weird dream and wondered how to make sense of it? Do you find yourself feeling curious about the real meaning of your dreams? Our lives are filled with narratives that are expressed in the form of images or metaphors via our subconscious mind. They can play out in our dreams as symbols, and they are UNIQUE to our perspective. Often, the interpretations found in dream books or dictionaries don't resonate with our own symbolism because images have different meanings for people based on life experience and individual creativity. In this workshop, you’ll learn and practice very simple techniques to access your Voice of Intuition and explore the meaning of your dreams. We’ll use the Dream Decipher Process to decode hidden messages, YOUR imagery, and emotions contained in dreams or nightmares. These methods improve your spiritual experience by deepening an awareness of the insights drawn from your dream state. This workshop is based on the teachings and books by Tianna Galgano, Dream Coach, NLP & Shamanic practitioner.

You will love this workshop if you:

  • remember your dreams

  • are curious about the true meaning of them in your life and in your own words

  • are looking to feel more connection between your subconscious and your conscious reality

  • have been having a recurring dream, and you would like to find out why and what it means

  • would like more insight into your dreams more frequently

  • are looking to heal emotions that seem to come up in dreams or nightmares

Together, we will explore:

  • The power of the Dream Decipher Process

  • a deeper connection to your Voice of Intuition

  • how journaling can help connect to your subconscious mind and help you remember dreams more easily

  • how to program your dreams when you want clarity with a problem or life situation or need guidance to make a decision

I have always been fascinated by the dream world, which is instrumental in helping me understand everyday life. As early as I can remember, I swamped my family at breakfast with my Hollywood movie script dreams, describing every detail: "Oh Mona, not another dream!"

Many, many dreams later, I attended a Shamanic workshop in 2016 where I learned these techniques from Tianna, who eventually guided & coached me, and I am forever grateful for her contribution. There is a magical connection between our dreams and our lives, and I would love to help you access that. I invite you to learn these techniques so you can use your dreams as guidance to live with more certainty along your life path.

Inversions
Cultivating Calm, Confidence & Connectivity

with Valerie Vincent

Do you want to be more confident when working on inversions? Do you struggle with calming the mind when you get upside down? Do you struggle with finding connectivity across the body, from your head to your toes, when reversing your relationship with gravity? Are you generally curious about learning inverted postures?

Join Valerie, an Ashtanga Yoga teacher and dedicated practitioner, for a 2-hour workshop focused on the inversions of the closing sequence in the Ashtanga Yoga Series. This workshop is aimed to help you find confidence, connectivity and calm in the inversions of the closing sequence of Ashtanga Yoga.

You’ll learn the role of inversions for our nervous system and why they are an important part of our practice. We’ll dissect the foundational alignment elements, variations, options, and techniques to begin or refine and strengthen your practice of these poses designed to calm the mind and body. Together, we will explore Salamba Sarvangasana (Shoulder Stand), Halasana (Plow Pose), Karnapidasana (Ear Pressure Pose), Urdhva Padmasana (Upward Lotus Pose), Pindasana (Embryo Pose), and Sirsasana (Headstand).  We will explore ways to make these asanas comfortable and accessible for each and every one of us. Whether you are new to these poses or looking to deepen your understanding, this workshop is designed to meet you where you are and help you progress. We’ll revisit the foundations of Tadasana (Mountain Pose) before we invert the body, use props to provide comfort, alignment and confidence, and look at basic anatomy to understand the mechanics of lifting with straight legs.

Through guided demonstrations & practice and individualized feedback, Valerie will provide practical tips for building strength, improving flexibility, and overcoming common challenges in these inversions. You’ll also explore preparatory exercises and modifications to work safely within your range of motion, making the practice accessible and empowering. By the end of the session, you’ll gain greater confidence, balance, and clarity in approaching these asanas, along with a deeper appreciation for their significance within the Ashtanga tradition.

This is a perfect opportunity to elevate your practice, whether you're an experienced Ashtangi or curious about beginning your inversion skills.

While this workshop is accessible to newer and seasoned practitioners, it may not be suited for those with cervical spine issues or pains. If this applies to you, please seek the advice of a medical professional prior to registering.

Spa Yoga Spring

with Andie & Marie Neige

🌱 We always welcome the springtime! It’s time for the beginning of life, with the plants, the baby birds hatching from their eggs, and new ideas bursting forth!  As we start to leave the energy of winter behind, the image of a seed starting to sprout comes to mind. We start to get excited about all kinds of new projects and ideas, but sometimes spring energy can be associated with anger when these new changes don’t happen as we plan.

🌷In this season’s Spa yoga workshop, we will be focusing on this springtime energy, as we deeply activate the liver and gall bladder meridians associated with this season. It’s the time to make decisions, begin to initiate change, and start to send our roots down and our shoots up and out!

💚 The structure of this workshop will be the same as usual: Andie will introduce you to a short pranayama, then you can enjoy 90 minutes of deep restorative poses with a short massage in every pose (from Andie and Marie Neige), then finishing with a 20 minute guided meditation, led by Marie Neige, who joined us for the last winter Spa Yoga session.

About Andie

Having grown up in Ontario, Andie then moved to Asia, where she learned Thai Massage and Yoga (500 hrs in Thailand and India) and many other healing modalities. In 2018, she settled here in Quebec, and began her own business in 2020, called Mudra Metta Wellness, which means ‘taking care of yourself first, then taking care of others.’ Andie is passionate about self-care and encourages everyone to fill their own cups as a first priority. Andie has over 13 years of Thai massage experience and 6 years of experience teaching yoga (vinyasa, Hatha, and yin) and is thrilled to teach regularly at the Well!

About Marie Neige

Passionate about ancestral healing methods, Marie Neige has studied Ayurveda, neo-shamanism, and bio-cosmo-energy while developing her unique practice: synergistic massage. In 2022, she became a certified meditation teacher and is currently pursuing advanced training with Dr. Vasant Lad. Her holistic approach aims to guide everyone toward profound and lasting well-being.
