Service Description

We often hear about how important it is to live life with intention. Or at the beginning of a yoga class the teacher will encourage you to set an intention for the class. But it can sometimes feel daunting and like a lot of pressure to know what intention to set, and then how to pursue it. In this 90-minute workshop-style class, you’ll learn about and experience the benefits of EFT tapping and enjoy a variety of all-level yoga styles, both of which will encourage you to set intentions on your mat and in your life with more clarity and ease. The yoga portion will encourage you to get out of the busyness of your head and into that deeper place of guidance inside. The tapping portion will help you overcome internal obstacles, clarify your goals, and align your actions with your deepest aspirations. By tapping into your body's energy system and harnessing the power of positive affirmations, you can enhance the effectiveness of your intention-setting process and accelerate your personal growth journey. What is tapping, you may be asking? Tapping, also known as the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), involves gently tapping on specific meridian points on the body while focusing on emotional or physical issues. The tapping process is accompanied by verbalizing statements that acknowledge the problem being addressed, followed by affirmations of self-acceptance and positive change. EFT is believed to offer several potential benefits, including: Reducing anxiety and Emotional regulation - such as generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), social anxiety, and phobias. Improving well-being and increasing self-awareness Improving sleep and relaxation Trauma resolution and self-empowerment Increasing energy and enhancing cognitive function Enhancing performance and improving focus and concentration. Complementary to therapy WHAT TO EXPECT: Guided meditation to help you arrive (not your typical meditation!) Lesson on tapping Alternate between mini-tapping sessions and mini-yoga sessions to experiment with various ways to set intentions Closing and intention setting for the season ahead WHAT TO BRING: Yoga mat (or borrow one of ours) Anything that will help you be more comfortable Journal Dress comfortably DETAILS: Saturday, April 20th 2-3:30 pm $46 (taxes included)
